The Challenge

Contacting defaulters is always a big challenge. Stefto has a banking client for whom we have handled debt recovery for 5+ years. This has led to an increased percentage of non-contactable defaulters. Even if we were able to connect with the defaulter, there was an additional challenge of not providing a real-time solution to receive the pending payments.

Stefto’s Solution

We suggested providing individual tablet devices to field executives with inbuilt GPS and with an integrated CRM. The device helped & increased the coordination between the field team and back-office team. The back-office team was able to provide the correct allocation to the field team that too on time. This made it easy to track the team and measure the productivity in real-time, which ultimately increased contact ability with the right party. Also, field agents were able to provide customers with the right solution in real-time with the best coordination from the back-office team.

The solution has helped in increasing debt resolution from 1.3 % to 2.1% for the NPA allocation. Also, this has reduced escalations in the field as well.
